Books on my bedside table – Kelly Rimmer

We are all guilty of having at least one book stacked up next to our bed, whether they be books we are currently reading, books we are dipping in and out of, or books that we are saving for a rainy day! One of our authors, Kelly Rimmer, gives us an exclusive sneak-peak of the books she has lined up on her bedside table.

What happened to us?

What Happened to Us – Faith Hogan

I’m reading this one at the moment. So far, it’s fantastic—a touching, honest and quirky story about a woman finding herself again when life takes an unexpected turn.

The Lost Man

The Lost Man – Jane Harper

I’m coming very late to the Jane Harper bandwagon, this is the first of her books that I’ve read. So many people have recommended her books to me, so when a friend pressed this one into my hands yesterday, I gratefully accepted. I’m only a few chapters in but this book is seriously gripping so far.

Nine Perfect Strangers

Nine Perfect Strangers – Liane Moriarty

I was not at all late to the Liane Moriarty bandwagon. I still remember reading Three Wishes when it was first released in 2003. I also remember bullying my sister into reading it so we could discuss it, and 15 years later, I suspect I’ll be doing the very same thing when I finish Nine Perfect Strangers!

Standard Deviation

Standard Deviation – Katherine Heiny

This one looks like an amazing blend of hilarity and deep emotion, and I’m saving it for one of those rainy days when you just need to read something a little special.

Bridge of CLay

Bridge of Clay – Marcus Zusak

This book is more than 500 pages long, and when I purchased it from a bookseller friend this week, she told me I’m going to need to savour every single brilliant word. So as keen as I am to dive into this novel, it’s likely going to sit on my bedside table until my next holiday, when I can give it the attention it deserves!
