Dan Freedman dreamed of being a professional footballer. That didn’t happen. When he was thirteen, his mum said: ‘Why don’t you try to be a football writer instead?’ And so he did, first becoming a journalist with the England national team and then writing the Jamie Johnson series of novels. He’s sold over a million books around the world and visited more than 2,000 schools to encourage young people to go for their goals, on and off the pitch.
