Striker, Slow Down is a fun and easily accessible way to explore the importance of slowing down and taking time to rest and relax. It's designed to appeal to younger children with beautiful illustrations and told in rhyme; but Striker's message is an important one for all of us. A great resource for teachers and parents looking for a way into talking about relaxation techniques and mindfulness.
I just know that Striker, the active, bouncy kitten will reflect the experiences of many children. He never seems to stop! But Striker soon discovers that within him is a calm and peaceful space in which he can be just as wild and free.
